Dr. William B Epple VMD graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1966 with a bachelor of science in animal science after completing an accelerated degree program for matriculation into veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. William Epple graduated with a degree in veterinary medicine in 1969 from UPenn, after which he worked for a small animal veterinarian until opening his own practice, the present day Harmony Animal Hospital , in June of 1973. Some of Dr. William Epple's hobbies include landscaping, woodworking, rummaging through antique shops, playing racquetball, shooting pool, traveling through New England, and watching Nascar.

 Dr. Mary Ellen Markunas DVM grew up in the Queens district of New York City and earned her bachelor of arts from the City University of New York at Queens College , completing a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. Dr. Markunas attended the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and earned her degree in veterinary medicine in 1986. Dr. Markunas proceeded to work in several different veterinary hospitals, practicing small and large animal medicine, before beginning her employment at Harmony Animal Hospital more than 10 years ago. Dr. Markunas greatly enjoys world travel and the outdoors as well as riding her horse, Elliott.

Dr. Ryan L Epple VMD completed his bachelor of science in biology in 1999 from Pennsylvania State University while a first year veterinary student at the University of Pennsylvania 's School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Ryan Epple completed his degree in veterinary medicine from UPenn in 2003 before beginning practice as an emergency veterinarian at a small animal hospital in Wilmington, Delaware where he also participated at the SPCA providing medical & surgical services. Dr. Ryan began employment at Harmony Animal Hospital in the fall of 2006. Some of Dr. Ryan's hobbies include reading novels, studying music, running and other sports, salsa and swing dancing, traveling to Mexico with his wife and two daughters, and enjoying good coffee.

 Dr. Minjeong Gwon DVM is originally from the Republic of Korea and lived in Seoul, Korea until she graduated from Konkuk University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Upon graduation Dr. Gwon completed a 6 month exclusive externship at Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska prior to joining Asiatic Black Bear
Restroration Project in Jiri Mountain, Korea, as the first staff
veterinarian. She enjoyed working with black bears until electing to
pursue further study in small animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Gwon participated in an externship in an emergency animal hospital in Arlington, Texas, where she became very interested in emergency and critical care medicine. Following completion of a one year veterinary clinical training program at Oklahoma State University, she worked at a small animal clinic in Baltimore, Maryland, where she fulfilled both daytime and emergency positions. Dr.
Gwon's hobbies include traveling, swimming, running, creative writing,
and spending time with her husband Jay and her cat Tabby.
