Boarding

We have available to our clients a variety of boarding cages and runs to accommodate whatever size dog or cat you may own during the period of time that you may require this service. Our caring, conscientious staff will ensure that your animals rest in a clean environment and that their needs are well attended.

TO OUR CLIENTS THAT BOARD

We require reservations to be made prior to the drop off of an animal boarding with us. Please call at anytime during office hours to check availability. Holidays and summer weekends tend to fill up at least a month in advance.

Please ask the staff at the front desk for daily rates as they differ for each weight category. Boarding is charged per calendar day plus tax.

You may drop off your pet between the hours of 8:30am and 7:00pm Monday through Thursday, Friday between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm and Saturday between 8:30 am and 12:00 pm.

To keep our kennel and other pets in the hospital flea and tick free we require the use of Frontline, Advantage, Advantix, Vectra, or Revolution. It will be applied on admission at an additional charge if not used at home.

Current vaccinations are required for your pet to stay in our kennel.
Dogs: Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella (kennel cough) and Canine Influenza
Cats: Rabies and Distemper

Yearly fecal exams are also required. Our lab checks for all intestinal parasites including round worms, hook worms, whip worms, tape worms, coccidia and giardia.

Dogs are fed Purina EN and cats are fed Hills W/D. Both diets are formulated for pets with sensitive stomachs. If your pet is on a special diet, please bring enough food for their stay. There will be an additional charge of $1.00 per day to feed. Make sure your food is labeled with you and your pet's name in an air tight container.

If your pet is on any medication please bring it with you upon admission. There will be an additional charge of $2.00 per dosing.

A complimentary bath is included for all dogs staying 7 days or more.

Dogs are taken outside 4 times daily for walks while they are here. They are walked in an enclosed yard.

We require an emergency contact number should medical emergencies arise while your pet is here. Non-emergency conditions that may occur will be treated. We strive to provide the best care and compassion for your pet. If at any time we have the need for special or emergency treatments while your pet is boarding with us we will first attempt to contact you or your designated contact to inform you of the situation.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding of our policies.

Testimonial

  • "I love this vet. All of the employees are so helpful and take the time to talk with you even if its just consoling... We live in PA but don't mind the nice country drive to their private office... Our small breed dogs love them. When our one dog passed at 6mos. they were very supportive, and even sent a sympathy card. We like that they always have time, even 24 hr. emergency care and are always clean and helpful and friendly."
